PREAMBLE

2. EXCLUSIONS & LIMITATIONS

2.1 NOT Covered (No Warranty): Warranty excludes per Magnuson-Moss §2304:
✗ Normal wear & tear (cosmetic damage, fading, scratches)
✗ Misuse / abuse / negligence (dropped, water damage, unauthorized repair)
✗ Accidents (spilled liquids, electrical surge, fire)
✗ Unauthorized modification or repair (third-party service)
✗ Failure to follow user manual instructions
✗ Use contrary to specifications (using 110V product on 220V outlet)
✗ Consumables (batteries, ink, toner) - covered separately per WEEE Directive 2012/19 (e-waste)
✗ Software / firmware (unless pre-loaded, then 30-day period only)
2.2 Warranty Void If: Warranty expires/voids if:
• Serial number removed/altered
• Product opened/disassembled by non-authorized person
• Protective seals broken (tampering evidence)
• Not from authorized retailer (gray market risk)
2.3 NO Warranty for Certain Conditions: Per BGB §443 (Defect Exclusion):
• Defects customer was aware of at purchase (as-is sales)
• Defects customer should have discovered with due diligence
• Defects caused by customer neglect

3. WARRANTY REMEDIES & REPAIRS

3.1 Repair Process (MANDATORY): Upon discovery of defect, manufacturer provides per BGB §437 (Remedies), Directive Art. 3:
• Repair/replacement at no cost (including labor, parts, shipping)
• Repair completed within [30 / 45 / 60 days] of receipt

5. EXTENDED WARRANTY & ACCIDENTAL DAMAGE

6.4 NO CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES: MANUFACTURER NOT LIABLE per BGB §442b (Liability Limit) for:
• Lost profits, lost data, lost revenue
• Business interruption
• Incidental or consequential damages
• Limitation applies even if manufacturer warned of possibility

7. INTERNATIONAL WARRANTY & TRANSFER
